09 August 2016: Ascender, the APAC leader in Multi-Country Payroll Outsourcing (MCPO) and Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, today announced a number of key senior appointments to boost the company’s leadership in the Asia Pacific region. The new appointments form part of Ascender’s broader strategy to drive customer excellence, innovation. and growth.
By offering core HCM and integration, Ascender will enable its customers throughout Asia Pacific to consolidate payroll delivery and integrate with their broader HCM strategy.
Pivotal to the appointments is the hiring of June Lee as General Manager, Asia, who will be responsible for growth and customer experience. Ms Lee joins from German software and services company Software AG where she was Asia Vice President of Sales. Previously she also held senior business leadership and sales roles with Tibco, HP, Dell and BMC. Ms Lee replaces Ken Wong who is transitioning to an advisory role to the board.
To boost Ascender’s operational capabilities, the company has hired payroll industry veteran Christine Budd as Head of Operations. Ms Budd has more than twenty-five years’ experience in HCM, including 12 years with NorthgateArinso.
Rounding out the management changes is the appointment of Charmaine Loratet as Human Resources Director. Transitioning from Concur, an SAP company, Ms Loratet supported an audacious growth plan across APAC where she grew her region from 35 employees to over 2,800.
Rishabh Mehrotra, CEO of Ascender commented on the new appointments, “We are excited to add world class talent to continue our focus on being the leader in payroll in APAC. I’m confident that these new appointments, combined with our existing leadership team, give us unmatched management strength and the ability to deliver against the constantly evolving needs of our customers.”
The new appointments follow the rebrand of Talent2 Human Resources Managed Services (HRMS) to Ascender in 2015.
